The Wisconsin Woodchucks have announced the signing of two more players from Florida State University. Infielder Cooper Swanson and catcher Casey Cribb will be headed to Wausau this summer.

Swanson, a 6’1” freshman, will bring power to the batting lineup. As a high schooler, Swanson helped his baseball team to back-to-back 3A state championships in 2016 and 2017. He hit .420 with seven home runs as a senior and was an honorable mention All-American. In his first season with the Seminoles, Swanson is hitting .353 in 17 at-bats. He is originally from Fort Myers, FL.

Cribb, a 6’2” redshirt junior, is in his first season at Florida State. In 2017, he played at Tallahassee Community College where he hit .308 with a home run. Cribb spent his freshman season at Jacksonville University and hit .281 with four RBI. He went 66 of 66 in total chances from the field for a perfect 1.000 fielding percentage. He was a three-time All-American honorable mention in high school. Cribb is originally from Jacksonville, FL.
