Wausau East Side Wrestling Club wrapped up its season with a trip to state for seven area wrestlers.
Aiden Kilde took fourth place in the Wisconsin Wrestling Federation state competition, while Gaige Stockwell placed sixth. Willow Groshek, Camdyn Rye, Maddox Rye, Garrison Stockwell and Nathan Scherwinski also competed at the youth state competition.
The team is coached by Paul Kilde and assistant Gary Stockwell.
“What I told the kids this past weekend before wrestling is that our path is laid out for you,” Kilde commented. “Decide, commit, succeed. That is ‘WE’ wrestling. ”
The Wausau East Side Wrestling Club is dedicated to advancing the sport of FolkStyle wrestling.
