Editor,

On April 3rd, my vote is for Karen Kellbach as Wausau District 8 Alderperson and Marathon County Board Supervisor.

I’ve spoken with Karen on countless city and county issues and even when we do not agree she has been respectful of different opinions and listens to your point of view. That doesn’t mean she always votes the way you want but at least she tells you why she did so and considers other views.

With Karen you can always expect a personal response to any questions.  She is easily reached and approachable.

Her opponent Mr Brown’s comment in WP&R that he’d want Wausau taxpayers to build a four lane road and bridge to get shoppers/visitors away from downtown and into Rib Mountain faster points to him not having Wausau’s economy as a priority or not understanding why we’d want to keep shoppers/visitors here.

We need more listening and communication from our reps in government that support our community and it’s growth while being fiscally responsible, not less.

We should vote to keep Karen Kellbach as our District 8 rep and County Board Supervisor.

Thank you,
Chris Filtz, Wausau, WI
