The Wausau West High School Warrior Science Olympiad teams participated in the 2018 State Science Olympiad tournament at UW-Milwaukee. The Wausau West Warriors finished in 12th place overall.

Jack Ford, Nathan Evers, and Bennett Baumann finished in 5th place in the Picture This – Computer Style event.
Annika Tordsen and Lilly Blarek finished in 5th place in the Write It, Do It event.
Danyel Ma and Sanjana Arji placed 7th place in Forensics.
Anjali Dvorak and Grace Schuler placed 7th place in Microbe Mission.
Kara Nyhus and Sanjana Arji placed 9th place in Food Science.
Sanjana Arji and Luke Anderson placed 9th place in Herpetology.
Annika Tordsen and Lilly Blarek placed 9th place in Towers.
Renner Stubbe and Luke Anderson placed 9th place in Rocks and Minerals.
