WAUSAU — A snow emergency will be in effect in Wausau starting at 8 p.m. Sunday.

Plow crews will take a break this afternoon and early evening before plowing again to get roads ready for the morning commute, Chief Ben Bliven stated in an email to news outlets.

That means no vehicles are allowed parked on city streets until the snow emergency is lifted, which will happen at 10 a.m. Monday.
