MARATHON — Investigators worked through the night Thursday at a Marathon motel where a man’s body was discovered inside a closet.
An autopsy is planned for today to determine the cause and time of death, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.
Police were called at 12:27 p.m. to the Village Inn, 304 Main St., where the man’s body was found. The Village Inn is a bar and restaurant with a five-room motel on the upper floor.
The man’s name has not yet been released.
Police say they do not believe the public is in any danger related to the case. Additional information is expected later today.
