WESTON – Central Wisconsin teacher Felecity Treptow, a technology integration specialist and teacher for the D.C. Everest Area School District, has been named one of the best.

Treptow’s school will receive $1,000 in prize money, and she will get a complete “superhero makeover” experience.

Meemic Insurance Company, which provides customized personal lines insurance products exclusively to teachers and educational employees, has been unveiling the members of the “Superhero Team of Educators,” a select group of 10 school employees, since December, according to Meemic Insurance.  The “superheroes” include teachers and other dedicated professionals in any facet of school employment who are seen as an everyday hero for their communities and to their students.

More than 600 nominations for professionals at elementary, middle and high schools in Meemic’s coverage area (including Michigan, Wisconsin and Illinois) were submitted.

“The goal of the program is to provide a fun way to honor deserving educators for the important role they play in the lives of their students,” said Meemic COO Brad Roeber.
