Court records show Rogers was sentenced in March to nine months in the Marathon County Jail and given 122 days credit for time served while awaiting trial. He scheduled for release May 18.

Rogers, who lists a Merrill address in court records, has a string of previous convictions including a 2012 felony child abuse case.

In the 2012 case, Rogers was initially given a withheld sentence and probation. But in 2014, Rogers probation was revoked, and he was ordered to serve two years in prison. He was on extended release when the theft charge was filed.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts should contact the Marathon County Sheriff’s Office at 715-261-1200, option 1.
