WAUSAU — Families can register their children for summer activities at the first Summer Fun Fair to be held on May 12.
The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon at the Boys & Girls Club of the Wausau Area, 1710 N. Second St., Wausau.
“For many working parents, finding programs and activities to keep their children busy, safe and having fun during the summer months is a real challenge,” said Deanna Schuette, community impact director at United Way, in a news release. “Our goal is to make it a little easier by bringing providers together in one spot.”
Representatives from the YMCA, Wausau Area Youth Soccer, Boys & Girls Club, Scouts and at least a dozen other organizations will be on-hand at this United Way Partnership for Youth-sponsored event.
