WAUSAU — Tundraland Home Improvements will hold a ribbon cutting ceremony Friday, May 18, to celebrate the opening of a showroom and design center in Wausau.

“This celebration is about being a part of the communities that we serve,” Brian Gottlieb, president and owner of Tundraland, said in a Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce news release. “Wausau is known for its community feel with a focus on family, arts and music and we look forward to playing an active role in furthering that growth.”

Tundraland’s new location will add 60 jobs to the area, according to the news release. Those jobs will include builders, designers, sales people and marketers.

The three-day celebration will include a $25 gift card giveaway to the first 100 people to attend each day.

The ribbon cutting will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 18, at 305 Third St. The ceremony is part of a three-day open house event, open to the public from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on both Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
