SkillsUSA has announced the winners of more than 80 skilled and technical trades competitions.

Students of many area schools are among the top competitors, according to a SkillsUSA news release.

Awards were presented during the 45th annual SkillsUSA Wisconsin State Leadership and Skills Conference on April 24 and April 25 at the Alliant Energy Center in Madison, Wisconsin. It featured more than 1,600 middle and high school students participating in more than 80 skilled and technical trades competitions.
