TOWN OF BIRCH — A 37-year-old Wausau man is hospitalized following an ATV crash Sunday in the town of Birch, police said.
Lincoln County Sheriff’s deputies responded Sunday to the Turtle Lake Road ATV parking area north of CTH J where the victim was brought by fellow riders, county officials said.
The victim, whose name has not been released, was flown by air ambulance to the trauma center at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. Police did not specify the nature or severity of his injuries, and say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash.
No additional details were immediately released.
