WAUSAU — Motorists can expect to encounter single lane closures on Interstate-39 and Highway 29, in Marathon County, beginning today, Monday, June 4.
The lane closures are necessary for crews to sweep bridge decks and interchanges, according to a Wisconsin Department of Transportation news release. Motorists are advised to slow down and move over as they approach the work zones.
Work is scheduled for completion on Thursday, June 7. The schedule is subject to change based on weather conditions.
