WAUSAU – Visit the Marathon County Public Library for a free screening of the Marvel superhero film that took the world by storm!

MCPL will show the adaptation of the popular comic series Black Panther” from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on June 21at its Wausau headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.

In the film, Marvel superhero Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman) defends the African nation of Wakanda (a technologically advanced country that has hidden itself away from the rest of the world) from a coup and uprising that threatens the future of its people. Also starring Michael B. Jordan, Angela Bassett and Oscar winners Forest Whitaker and Lupita Nyong’o. Rated PG-13, with a running time of 135 minutes.
