STEVENS POINT — Peoples State Bank announced this week the addition of Adam Siewert as assistant vice president – commercial banking. Siewert will join Dale Sankey, assistant vice president – commercial banking, in opening a new commercial lending office for Peoples in the Stevens Point market.

Siewert previously worked for Peoples as a senior credit analyst for seven years. He returns to Peoples after holding credit management, business development, SBA lending and business banking roles for the past four years at area banking institutions, according to a Peoples’ news release.

In his new role at Peoples, Siewert will be responsible for business development, including commercial lending and deposit growth for business customers in the Stevens Point, Wisconsin Rapids and surrounding markets.

“I am proud to be part of the Peoples team,” Siewert said in the release. “I share Peoples’ commitment to the community and my roots also run deep throughout the central Wisconsin market. I look forward to providing my expertise in commercial banking to local businesses and to help support a growing and diverse community.”

Peoples also announced its entrance into the market with its Stevens Point Lending Office on Business Park Drive in Stevens Point. The lending office will be led by Sankey and focus on the commercial lending and business banking needs of small and medium-sized businesses looking for a banking partner and strategic advisor who can offer custom financial solutions.

Sankey brings to Peoples 27 years of experience in financial services industries, including the last five years as a local commercial banker and prior to that a financial representative, sales agent and business owner with Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in Stevens Point.
