TOWN OF PELICAN — A 27-year-old man is dead following an ATV crash Friday evening near Rhinelander.
The crash was reported at about 7:30 p.m. on North Lake George Road in the town of Pelican.
Kody T. Carlson died after his ATV went off the road and hit a tree, according to the Oneida County Sheriff’s Department. Police say Carlson was not wearing a helmet.
Oneida County deputies, Pelican Fire first responders, the DNR and the Oneida County Medical Examiner responded to the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
