TOWN OF RIETBROCK — A 39-year-old man is seriously injured following a motorcycle crash Saturday in the town of Rietbrock, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.
Deputies were called at 11:10 a.m. Saturday to the crash on CTH M and Spruce Lane in the town of Rietbrock. Police say a vehicle traveling north on CTH M driven by a 35-year-old man slowed to turn west onto Spruce Lane and collided with the motorcycle.
The motorcycle driver, whose name has not yet been released, was transported to the Marshfield Medical Center with serious injuries. Speed is suspected as being a factor in the traffic crash, accotding to police.
The Marathon County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Athens Fire Department and Athens Ambulance Service.
The crash remains under investigation.
