WAUSAU — Wausau native Erik Rajek has joined First Business Financial Services, Inc.
Rajek will serve as the SBA business development officer, working with central and northern Wisconsin businesses to help them achieve their financial goals, the company said.
Rajek has nearly 15 years of small business finance experience with a primary focus on SBA lending, according to a First Business Financial Services news release. He has worked with businesses across a variety of industries, including metal fabrication, paint and powder-coating, flooring manufacturing, radio and hospitality. He is a graduate of UW-Madison and holds a bachelor’s degree in economics.
Rajek gives back to his community through the United Way of Marathon County’s Health Impact Team, the Young Entrepreneurs Academy, and he is treasurer for The Neighbors’ Place. Based on these efforts, he was recognized as one of the Wausau region’s “20 Under Forty” in 2016.
