WAUKESHA, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin man has surrendered to authorities after more than two weeks on the run.

Forty-three-year-old Jonathan Pogreba was taken into custody Thursday at the Waukesha County Courthouse. WISN-TV reports Pogreba said nothing as officers placed him in handcuffs and escorted him down a hallway.

Authorities had been searching for Pogreba since a domestic disturbance at his home in the Town of Eagle on June 5. According to a criminal complaint, Pogreba pointed a gun at his wife and assaulted her.

Authorities allege Pogreba ran off and stole a neighbor’s BMW. Authorities say he apparently later broke into a cabin in western Wisconsin and left a note saying he was heading to the Boundary Waters, where he planned to leave the car and travel on foot.
