“Rock Around Spencer” Geology Tour (MCPL Spencer)
Kids, tweens and teens interested in rocks and the earth can participate in a geology scavenger hunt! Stop by the Marathon County Public Library’s Spencer Branch, 105 S. Park St., Spencer, any time from July 9-13 to receive clues that will help you find various rocks hidden around the village. Toddler Dance Party (MCPL Wausau)
Toddlers can enjoy music and movement-themed story times and dance parties this summer beginning July 9 from 11-11:30 a.m. at the Marathon County Public Library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. Singer, performer and tap-dancer Duke Otherwise will entertain audiences with two shows on July 10 at the Marathon County Public Library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau. Children can read to a friendly pup during “PAWS to Read” on July 10 from 6-7 p.m. at the MCPL Rothschild Branch, 211 Grand Ave., Rothschild. Tweens and teens are invited to the Marathon County Public Library to create a decorative wall hanging using compact discs on July 13 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the library’s Marathon City Branch, 515 Washington St., Marathon.
