STEVENS POINT — Rescue crews on Saturday pulled the body of a woman from the Wisconsin River after a report from a group of teens who reportedly saw the woman jump, according to the Stevens Point Police Department.

Searchers discovered the body near Bukolt Park at about 6:30 p.m., about two hours after the teens called police. The name of the woman has not yet been released, but police say she is in her 30s and is not from the Stevens Point area. Foul play is not suspected.

The teens called police after seeing the woman jump into the water who did not resurface. Rescue crews and divers combed the river with help from volunteers, police said.
