A registered sex offender with a string of past convictions for crimes against children will reach his mandatory release date July 11 and will live near Mosinee, according to the Marathon County Sheriff’s Department.
Travis Errthum, 46, will be be monitored by sex offender agent specialists and will be subject to GPS monitoring by agents with the Wisconsin Department of Corrections. He will be placed on a highly restrictive schedule.
Police say Errthum has a history of approaching his victims in skate parks and other open areas. Errthum, who has been released once before only to be returned to prison for violating the terms of his release, has past convictions for child enticement, possession of child pornography and sexual assault, according to court records.
