The Lakeshore Chinooks put an end to the Wisconsin Woodchucks winning streak Friday with a 4-3 win in Mequon.

The Woodchucks, coming off four straight wins, fell behind in early innings when the Chinooks scored four runs to take a 4-0 lead. The Woodchucks answered right back in the top of the 3rd inning with a two run RBI double from the hot hitting centerfielder Zach DeLoach to make it 4-2 after three.

The Chucks also answered with an RBI single from first basemen Alex Toral in the top of the 6th and that trimmed the lead to make it 4-3.

Chucks reliever Frank Frate was outstanding in relief going 5 and 2/3rds innings not allowing a run and striking out five.

Woodchucks centerfielder had a nice night at plate going 2-4 with an two run RBI double.

Chucks first basemen Alex Toral added an RBI single in the top of the 6thinning.
