LINCOLN COUNTY — A 42-year-old Waukesha County motorcycle driver is facing felony charges after leading a deputy on a high speed chase late Saturday night, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.
The suspect, a man from Wales, Wis., ultimately tipped his motorcycle over while attempting to turn onto Hwy. 51, police said. The driver, whose name was not released, was cited for first offense operating while intoxicated and faces possible felony charges of fleeing an officer. No criminal charges were filed as of Monday afternoon.
Police say the man was not injured.
