WAUSAU — Marathon County Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying a man accused of physically assaulting a special needs individual at the Metro Ride Transit Center in the city of Wausau.

On June 26, the victim and a white man with dark hair parted to the right and a full beard and mustache got off a Jefferson Lines bus at about 2:45 p.m. The suspect asked the victim if they were “retarded” and then began punching the victim. Police say the suspect was about 5’10” tall, about 150 pounds and was wearing a black bodied jacket with red sleeves.
