WAUSAU — A member of the Wausau Police Department is being honored for his fundraising efforts that helped purchase a new lift chair for a local resident.
Officer Jordan Gaiche on Thursday was presented a legislative citation commending him for his efforts. The presentation was made by Rep. John Spiros (R-Marshfield). Also present were Sen. Jerry Petrowski (R-Marathon) and Wausau Mayor Robert Mielke.
The Wausau Police Department congratulated Gaiche publicly on the department Facebook page.
“Congratulation Officer Gaiche,” the post reads. “Your actions are an example to us all!”
