STEVENS POINT — Police in Stevens Point are searching for two suspects who allegedly robbed a tavern at gunpoint early Saturday morning.
Officers were called at about 6 a.m. to the 13th Floor Bar on Park Street for a report of an armed robbery, according to a Stevens Point Police Department news release. Two people, one who was allegedly armed with a long gun, entered the bar shortly after an employee had opened for the day and demanded money.
No one was injured. An undisclosed amount of cash was taken.
Police have not released any photos or a description of either suspect. The robbery is under investigation, and police are asking anyone with information to contact Sargent Robert Kussow at 715-346-1515 or the Portage County Crimestoppers at 888-346-6600.
