WAUSAU — Supporting loved ones as they battle addiction takes its toll on relationships, resources and the community – but there is hope in recovery.
In an effort to better support families, friends and neighbors, the AOD Partnership will host a series of listening sessions to help support those who are supporting others through their addiction.
Families, spouses, friends and other loved ones are asked to participate in one of the following community listening sessions:
- Wednesday, July 18 – 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.
- Thursday, July 19 – 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Monday, July 23 – 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, July 24 – 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
All sessions will be held at the Center for Civic Engagement (Sonnentag Room), on the University of Wisconsin-Marathon County Campus, 625 Stewart Ave., Wausau.
