MANITOWOC — A 2-year-old Mosinee girl is in critical condition Monday after being struck by a car in Manitowoc, according to police.
Emergency crews responded at about 7 p.m. Sunday to a road near the Manitowoc Aquatic Center after the girl reportedly dodged into traffic. The girl, whose name was not released, was airlifted to a trauma center for treatment of life-threatening injuries, police said.
The driver of the vehicle, a 61-year-old woman from Manitowoc, was not injured.
An investigation is ongoing and anyone who witnessed the crash is asked to contact the Manitowoc Police Department at 920-686-6551.
