WAUSAU — On Thursday, July 19, Wisconsin Public Radio’s Route 51 will feature an hour of music and conversation with the Miami-based South Beach Chamber Ensemble, led by Wausau native and cellist Michael Andrews.

Glen Moberg will talk to Andrews and his musicians about their 13th annual chamber music festival, South Beach Up North, which gets underway with Thursday’s Route 51, and continues with four separate performances in the Wausau area and Minocqua.

The Miami-based South Beach Chamber Ensemble returns to central Wisconsin each July. Its diverse repertoire includes classical, American pop standards, jazz, and rock.
