WAUSAU – The next Friends of the Marathon County Public Library Book Sale will be held Aug. 2-5 at the library’s Wausau Headquarters, 300 N. First St., Wausau.
Browse through thousands of items that have been donated to the library or phased out of the library’s own collection. The sale will include discounts on hardcover books, paperbacks, audiobooks, movies and TV series on DVD and artwork.
The sale kicks off with a members-only sale from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Aug. 2; non-members can join on-the-spot for just $10. The sale will open to the general public at 9:30 a.m. on Aug. 3 and 4 and closes that day at 4:30 p.m. The sales continues from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Aug. 5 with a special $6 bag sale (all the books you can fit inside a paper grocery store bag for just $6.)
