UPDATE: Missing Racine woman found safe

UPDATE (7:56 p.m.) — Police say a missing Racine woman considered endangered has been found safe.

A statewide Silver Alert for Linda M. Hopkins, 64, has been cancelled. Hopkins had been missing from her Racine home since Friday, July 27.

No additional details were immediately released.

RACINE — A statewide Silver Alert has been issued for a cognitively impaired Racine woman who may be suicidal.

Linda M. Hopkins, 64, left her home in the 1400 block of Isabelle Avenue in Racine sometime on Friday, July 27 with her vehicle. According to a Wisconsin Department of Justice alert, Hopkins recently made statements that she might harm a family member.

Police say Hopkins left her home with her vehicle, a 1987 yellow/bronze Cadillac sedan that is in very good condition with Wisconsin license plate 501-ZFY. A similar car is pictured below.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Racine Police Department at 262-886-2300.
