WAUSAU — Officials say a magnesium leak left one person injured at a Wausau business.
Emergency crews from the Wausau Fire Department responded at about 11 a.m. to Dietary Pro Labs, 7111 Stewart Ave., in Wausau.
One person was injured and was taken to a local hospital. The nature and extent of the victim’s injuries has not yet been specified.
A portion Stewart Avenue on the city’s west side was closed for about three hours but reopened at about 2 p.m.
Dietary Pro Labs manufactures vitamins and dietary supplements. The business has been in operation since 1999.
No other details were immediately released.
