UPDATE: The Wisconsin Department of Justice on Wednesday canceled a statewide Silver Alert after a missing Minnesota man was found safe in Wood County.
James Shellum, 86, is from Burnsville, Minn. and went missing the evening of Tuesday, July 31. Police say he used a bank card at a BP gas station early Wednesday morning in Mauston and commented to the clerk that he was headed back to Minnesota, but he never arrived.
Shellum was also spotted near Milwaukee and was found hours later in Wood County, officials said. No further details were released.
