Mildred “Mitzi” Dolloff
Mildred “Mitzi” E. Dolloff, 92, of Wausau died on July 31, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Mitzi was born on Jan. 14, 1926, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, to the late Alex and Estelle (Hibbard) Granholm. She graduated from Wausau High School in 1944 and went on to attend Ripon College, home of Ripon Good Cookies, where she graduated in 1948. Mitzi married Clifford W. Dolloff in what was St. James Church, now Resurrection Church, on Jan. 17, 1948. Cliff proceeded her in death in 2006.
Mitzi enjoyed camping in her younger years and later on spending time at their cottage “Up North” on Lake Tippecanoe. She took pleasure in watching the loons, reading, chatting with friends and cooking for her family. She loved her children and grandchildren and took pride in being both a Cub Scouts den mother and a Girl Scouts leader. Her dogs, Sandy, Frieda and Lucy were also very special to her. She was an avid Green Bay Packers fan and a proud season ticket holder. She was active in the Wausau Women’s Club, the Christian Women’s Metro Club, and the YesterYear Reunion committee for many years.
Mitzi is survived by her two children Kent (Brenda) Dolloff of Wausau, Wisconsin, and Barbara (Ken) Remillard of Boston, Massachusetts; grandchildren Eric Bender, Matthew (Jen) Remillard, William Remillard and Kaylee Remillard; great grandson Wesley Remillard.
Besides her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Bill Granholm.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 3, 2018, at Brainard Funeral Home – Wausau Chapel, 522 Adams St., Wausau. The Rev. William Grevatch will officiate. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.

Ruth Gaunt
Ruth M. Gaunt, 76, of Wausau, passed away at her home on Tuesday, July 31, 2018, under the care of her family with assistance from Aspirus Comfort Care and Hospice.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday Aug. 4 at Hemer Funeral Home, Medford Chapel with Pastor David Clements officiating. Burial will follow in the Perkinstown Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Saturday morning at the funeral home from 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
Ruth was born on Sept. 9, 1941 in Patterson, N.J. to the late Lester and Marian Kusant.
Ruth worked as a registered x-ray technician. In 1987, she started Ruth’s Cleaning Service, which specialized in cleaning residential homes and commercial businesses. She enjoyed puzzles, gardening, reading, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, drinking Alabama slammers and being the owner of potentially the world’s largest Christmas village! She also collected antiques, especially Bessie Pease Baby Art.
Ruth is survived by her children, Lester (Julie) Gaunt of Pardeeville, Jodi (Joe) Spangberg and Brian Gaunt, all of Wausau, Barbara (Kevin Krueger) of Washington Island; grandchildren, James (Trina) Gaunt, Amber (Tony) Navone, Justin (Stephanie) Gaunt, Zachary and Isaac (Laura) Comfort and Ellie, Bennett and Mason Isaacson; great-grandchildren, Caleb, Olivia, Dominic, Donovan, Viola and one on the way; and brother, Thomas (Merry) Kusant of Bemidji, Minn.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by an infant son, Bruce Wayne; and sister, Barbara (John) Zester Jr.

Margaret Olinski
Margaret C. Olinski, 89, Rothschild, died peacefully at home on Monday, July 30, 2018, under the care of Ascension Hospice.
Margaret was born June 26, 1929, to the late Frank and Mary (Stadler) Wolf in Aniwa. She married the love of her life, Edward Olinski, on July 12, 1947, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Aniwa. Margaret was a homemaker all her life while enjoying her kids, grandchildren, crocheting, polka music and polka dancing, traveling with family, and at times, with her friends in their motor home, going to the casino and her cats.
Survivors include her four sons, Dennis (Sandra) Olinski, Germantown, Allen (Darcy) Olinski, Aniwa, Gary and Ron Olinski both of Rothschild; two daughters, Karen Olinski, Rothschild, and Maryann (Wally) Raczkowski, Kronenwetter; eight grandchildren, Matt (Kate) Olinski, Michael Olinski, Allison (Kevin) Wolfe, Erin (Dustin) Merriam, Laura (Phil) Merriam, Emmitt, Alena and Malek Raczkowski; seven great grandchildren, Brittany, Brianna, Bobby, Abigail, Ella, Elinor, Isabelle, Charlotte, Ayeisha, Zion, Nevaeh, Avantae, Kiarah; and sister-in-law Irma Olinski of Elgin, Illinois.
Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; brothers Joe and Otto Wolf and brother-in-law Frank Olinski.
A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 2, 2018, at Brainard Funeral Home-Weston Chapel, 5712 Memorial Court, Weston. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. The Rev. Louis Britto will celebrate. Private entombment will be at Restlawn Memorial Park.
The family would like to thank the hospice staff, especially Jennifer Schueller, who showed genuine care and compassion and truly has a heart of gold.

Alois Lepak
Alois Lepak, 76, passed away on July 28, 2018, after a short battle with cancer.
He was born July 27, 1942, to Alois and Elizabeth Lepak, and grew up in St. Ignace, Michigan; Peoria, Illinois; St. Augustine, Florida; Iron Mountain, Michigan; and Marathon, Wisconsin. Following his graduation from Marathon High School, Al married Susan Vetter Lepak, his wife of nearly 56 years, who predeceased him on March 27, 2018. Al and Sue lived in California and Michigan for a number of years before returning to Wisconsin.
Al worked for Wausau Papers for over 30 years and was a devoted father to his two children, as well as an enthusiastic source of advice regarding soap box derby cars and science fair projects. Al enjoyed DIY projects and following the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers.
He is survived by his children, Scott (Kathy) Lepak and Laura Lepak; grandchildren, Jordan (Alex) Riley and Kate (Randy) Bauer; great-grandchildren, William and Elizabeth Riley and Remy Bauer; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Peterson/Kraemer Funeral Home, 3400 Stewart Ave., Wausau, with a memorial service immediately following visitation. Online condolences may be expressed at www.petersonkraemer.com.
John “Jack” Crawley Sr.
John “Jack” Crawley Sr., 79, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 27, 2018, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born to the late Leo and Myrtle (Cartwright) on June 14, 1939. After school, he served proudly in the United States National Guard.
He married the love of his life, Joanne (Reed), on Oct. 7, 1961, at St. Paul Catholic Church in Mosinee. They celebrated 56 years together. He worked at Drott, then JI Case, until he retired.
After retiring, he worked for Krueger Floral in Mosinee as a delivery person. Jack loved fishing, hunting, horseshoes and spending countless hours at the family hunting cabin. He also enjoyed polka music, and he was a self-taught concertina player. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Joanne, their children, Jacqueline Meydam, John (Janalee) Crawley, and Jerri Lynn (Randy) Radtke; grandchildren Kassaundra (Jared) Kiehnau, Tyler (Brynn) Crawley, Jenna Crawley, and Kyle and Kody Radtke and great-grandchild Conrad Crawley. He is also survived by his brother Leo (Janice) Crawley and sister Patricia (Robert) Hackbarth.
He was preceded in death by his mother, father, brother Tom and sister Marylou.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018, at St. Paul Catholic Church, 603 Fourth St., Mosinee, with Fr. Don Meuret officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass at 11 a.m.

Ronald Fisher
Ronald E. Fisher, a native of Mobile, Alabama, and longtime Wausau resident, died at his home in Wausau on July 25, 2018.
He was born on June 2, 1942, to Loyd and Marie (Hall) Fisher. After graduating from the University of Montevallo in 1965, he started working in Atlanta for Wausau Insurance, and moved to Wausau in 1972. Ron retired from Wausau Insurance in 1999.
Ron is survived by his family, Clare (Clarke) Fisher, Holly Fisher of Chicago, Ilinois, Mike and Amy (Fisher) Sample of Needham, Massachusetts, and Ronald Fisher, Jr. of Arden Hills, Minnesota; daughters of the heart, Lisa Davidson of Bedford, Texas, and Sarah Farley of San Francisco, California; sister, Becky (Bill) Blackburn, nieces Christine (Rob) McElroy and Tina (Jason) Frostholm and families, of Semmes, Alabama; in-laws, families of Bob and Barbara Clarke, Dennis and Johanna Clarke, Merton and Tess Matthews and Richard and Julia Buckley; plus, Granville Frey, Ed Kratochvill, Helen Guy, Sandy MacDougall, and Jane Frieburg; and the Wausau families of Paul and Joan Steinlage, Marty and Barb Mullen, Darrell and Katy Witt M.D.; golf and sheepdhead buddies, Don Grassl, Tom Murphy, Jim Hannes, Dave Smith, Bob Becker; and so many other treasured friends and work associates that made Wausau home. Ron was godfather to Colonel Brian Clarke (Ret.), Tracy Drengberg, Kathy (Steinlage) Muller, and Courtney Mullen.
Ron was a long-time baseball and football WIAA official. He was a former member of the Wausau Country Club, Wausau Curling Club and American Legion Post 10.
On Sunday, Aug. 5, 2018, please join the family from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Bunkers, 1001 Golf Club Road, Wausau, to toast to Ron’s memory. A Memorial Mass will be at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, at St. Michael, 611 Stark St., Wausau, with Monsignor Mark Pierce officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until time of Mass.
The burial will occur at a later date at St. Patrick’s cemetery in Mystic, Connecticut.

Margaret Wozniak
Margaret Mildred Wozniak, 80, of Mattoon died on Monday, July 30, 2018, at her home under the care of her family and LeRoyer Hospice, Antigo.
Margaret was born on Sept. 30, 1937, in Clintonville, the daughter of the late Howard and Susan (Gyrion) Rodgers.
Margaret married Derald Vogt in 1958. Then on Feb. 17, 2001, Margaret was united in marriage to Frank J. Wozniak in Shawano. He survives.
Margaret graduated from UW-Oshkosh in 1971 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in education. She served as an English and Spanish teacher in Weyauwega and Berlin. She then worked at Walmart, where she retired after 15 years as a customer service manager. Margaret and Frank traveled through all but two U.S. states, a fact she was very proud of. She enjoyed reading, watching the Green Bay Packers and the Chicago Cubs. Margaret was a member of the Mattoon Church of the Nazarene as well as the American Legion Auxiliary.
Margaret is survived by her husband, Frank; three children, Derald (Marisol) Vogt of Austin Texas, Dennis Vogt of Fremont and Penny (friend Brian) Joren of Clintonville; five step-children, Jerry Wozniak of New York, Russell (Mary) Wozniak of Bloomer, Neal (Kelly) Wozniak of Antigo, Frank E. Wozniak of Mattoon; 15 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; a brother, Peter Rodgers of King and a special friend, Carol McPherson of Gresham.
Margaret was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 6, 2018, at Mattoon Church of the Nazarene, Mattoon. Rev. Bob Hess will officiate. Visitation will be on Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Schmidt & Schulta Funeral Home, Birnamwood, and again on Monday from 10 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in Kennan Cemetery.
