Jay’s Ride will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22, in Weston, with proceeds going to two charitable causes — the Weiland Criminal Justice Scholarship at Northcentral Technical College and the Everest Metro Police Department’s Memorial Fund.

The mission of Jay’s Ride is to support the local community through its support of law enforcement. The inaugural event in 2017 raised nearly $10,000 for the Weiland scholarship and the D.C. Everest Dare Program, according to a Jay’s Ride news release.

The ride will start at 1 p.m. on the Mountain Bay Trail in Weston. The event includes a cookout on site, raffles, a silent auction and live music by Rising Phoenix at Weston Lanes.

Online registration for the event is available at jaysride1274.com now through Sept. 15. More information about the event is available on the website or on the event Facebook page, facebook.com/jaysride.
