WAUSAU – The last day to submit nominations for the Athena Leadership Award and Athena Young Professional Leadership Award is Friday, Aug. 10. The nomination period will close at 3 p.m.
The Athena Leadership Award and the Athena Young Professional Leadership Award are presented to women or men who are honored for professional excellence, community service and for actively assisting women in their attainment of professional excellence and leadership skills.
Complete the nomination forms found on WausauChamber.com for consideration. Self-nominations are accepted and all nominations are kept confidential. Eligible nominees will be contacted to complete an application at the end of the nomination period. All nominees who complete the application will be recognized at the Athena Leadership Award Program in November, when the award recipient will be announced.
Awards will be presented at the Athena Leadership Award program at noon on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center in Rothschild.
