WAUSAU – The Wausau Region Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for the third annual Manufacturing Excellence Awards until 3 p.m. Friday, Aug. 17.
The event is part of the chamber’s celebration of Wisconsin’s Manufacturing Month and it will recognize a recipient in both a small- to medium-sized manufacturer category and a large manufacturer category. The recipient will have displayed excellence in contributing to the growth in the region’s economy, operations, innovation, workplace culture, quality jobs, supply chain management and commitment to the region.
The nomination form can be completed on WausauChamber.com. The chamber will host an awards ceremony honoring manufacturers from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16, at the Hilton Garden Inn in Rib Mountain.

J & D Tube Benders and Linetec received the award in 2017 in the small to medium and large categories, respectively.
