STEVENS POINT — A 21-year-old man arrested in connection with an alleged burglary and property damage case is also a person of interest in a July 1 assault of a 28-year-old woman who was attacked while walking home in Stevens Point, according to police.
Nayver Nardi Bravo Morales is facing charges of burglary, criminal damage to property and theft in connection to an Aug. 6 incident in the 2000 block of Madison Street. A 20-year-old woman at the same location told police someone had entered the home without permission and stole her cell phone. Her boyfriend, Morales, was identified as a possible suspect, police said.
Morales was arrested when he was found with the woman’s cell phone in his possession, police said.
According to the Stevens Point Police Department, Morales is also a person of interest in an open case from July 1, when a 28-year-old woman was allegedly attacked while walking home from the downtown area.
