WAUSAU — Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Route 51” will feature Marge Gibson, executive director of Raptor Education Group Inc., an Antigo-based nonprofit organization dedicated to the rehabilitation of injured birds and public wildlife education. The segment will air at 10 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 16.

Gibson is one of America’s leading experts on eagles, hawks, owls and other raptors, successfully returning hundreds of injured birds to the wild each year. Gibson will discuss current and emerging threats to birds and wildlife in north central Wisconsin and the ecosystems that support them. “Route 51” will take listener calls live at 1-800-780-9742.
