TOWN OF LINWOOD — A 73-year-old Marshfield man is dead after a single-vehicle crash Tuesday in the Portage County town of Linwood, according to police.
The victim has been identified as Dennis Hetchler.
Police were called to the crash at about 7:20 a.m. on Hwy. 66 just west of Hwy. PP. A preliminary investigation shows Hetchler’s vehicle left the pavement and entered the north ditch before striking the side of a driveway. Hetchler was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
