MOSINEE – In honor of National Passport Awareness Month, folks in the Mosinee area will have the opportunity to apply for a U.S. passport locally at the Mosinee Branch of the Marathon County Public Library.

This passport application event will be held from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Sept. 10 at 123 Main St., Mosinee.

If you have plans for international travel in your future – even visits to our neighbors Canada and Mexico – you’ll need a U.S. passport. MCPL’s trained passport agents will be on hand to help folks apply for a passport or renew their existing one, including assisting them in filling out the application paperwork and taking passport photos. To find out what you all need to bring with you, or for answers to common questions, visit https://mcpl.us/services/passports. Appointments are not required for this event but are encouraged.

This event is free, with no registration required. For more information, call 715-261-7200 or visit https://mcpl.us/events/5280.
