Rock n’ rollers to hold benefit for Honor Flight

ROTHSCHILD — Get rockin’ with musicians from central Wisconsin during a musical benefit for Never Forgotten Honor Flight.

Rock & Roll With Honor will be held from 4 p.m. to midnight Sept. 15 at Coral Lanes in Rothschild. Musicians from the Central Wisconsin Rock and Roll Revival will perform to help send veterans to Washington, D.C. to see memorials that stand in their honor.

Groups performing include The Robin Lee Review, Denny Bloom and Friends, Directions of Time, Backtrax, Winchester, Roadhouse and Times 3.

Special guest musicians include John Altenburgh, Tim Tesch, Dick Lodholz, Mick Joswick and Max Koepke.

Organizers ask for a $5 donation to the event. Raffles also will be held.

The Rock and Roll Revival Committee has produced benefit concerts since 1997 and has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for organizations such as The Rothschild Pavilion, Marathon County Historical Society, dozens of high school and middle school band programs throughout central Wisconsin, Wausau Area Events, music scholarships and others.
