A 17-year-old Mosinee High School senior will compete in the 2019 Miss Teen USA pageant after earning the top spot in the Miss Wisconsin Teen USA pageant.
Sydney Bobinski, of Kronenwetter, won the contest Sunday in Fond du Lac, according to the organization’s official page. Bobinski was second runner up in last year’s competition.
The pageants aim to empower women to be self-confident and strive to be their personal best, according to the Miss USA organization. As Miss Wisconsin Teen USA, Bobinski will spend the next year working with charities, sponsors and businesses around the world.
“During their reign, our titleholders are given the tools to personally and professionally enrich others by providing humanitarian efforts to affect positive change, all while developing their personal career goals,” the organization states.
