Water main break detours northeast side traffic in Wausau

WAUSAU — Motorists in Wausau will encounter detours Tuesday due to a water main break, according to the City of Wausau Public Works and Utilities Facebook page.

The break was reported at the intersection of Evergreen Road and Forest Valley Road on the city’s far northeast side. Residents on Forest Valley Road between Evergreen and Hilltop roads may be without water temporarily, officials said.

A map of the detour, above, is provided by the city’s Public Works and Utilities department. City officials did not state when repairs are expected to be completed.
