STEVENS POINT — Preschoolers and their parents can listen to stories about animals and nature this fall at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point’s Museum of Natural History.

Story Time at the Museum is a free program that brings natural history to life through books read by UW-Stevens Point students. Each session also includes an activity or art project related to the story.

Story Time is held biweekly on Fridays from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

This semester’s programs and book titles include:

  • Sept. 14, “Just a Little Bit” and “That Fruit is Mine!”
  • Sept. 28, “Too Many Carrots” and “It’s Not Easy Being a Bunny”
  • Oct. 12, “Tickly Octopus” and “My Octopus Arms”
  • Oct. 26, “The Watermelon Seed” and “The Crocodile Who Didn’t Like Water”
  • Nov. 9, “No Hugs for Porcupine” and “Porcupine’s Picnic: Who Eats What?”
  • Nov. 30, “Polar Bear’s Underwear” and “Adrift: An Odd Couple of Polar Bears”
  • Dec. 14, “A Loud Winter’s Nap” and “Winter, Winter, Cold and Snow”
