TOWN OF BRADLEY — An early morning crash near Tomahawk left four people injured, two of them critically, according to the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Department.

The crash was reported at about 1:15 a.m. on CTH L north of CTH N in the town of Bradley.

A preliminary investigation shows two motorcycles collided and crashed, according to a Lincoln County news release. As other bikes traveling in the area attempted to avoid the crash scene a third motorcycle with two occupants struck a pickup that had stopped at the scene.

Three of the four injured people were transported to Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital before they were transported to the trauma center as Aspirus.

A fourth patient was transported directly from the scene to Aspirus. Overnight fog prevented helicopters from flying, police said.

Responding agencies included: Tomahawk EMS, Tomahawk Fire Department, Merrill Fire Department Ambulance, Oneida County Medic Four, Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office and the Wisconsin State Patrol who is handling the crash investigation.

County Hwy. L was closed for five hours while the crash was investigated. No names have been released.
