UPDATE: 11:24 a.m. — Police say 16-year-old Angel Simonson, missing since Sept. 16, has been found safe.
No other details were immediately released.
HAYWARD, Wis. — A 16-year-old northern Wisconsin girl has been missing for more than a week and police have issued a statewide alert asking the public’s help in locating her.
Angel Simonson was last seen at about 9 p.m. Sept. 16 a her grandmother’s home in Hayward, according to the Wisconsin Crime Alert Network. When the girl’s grandmother went to wake Angel the next morning, the teen was gone.
Simonson went missing in Hayward but police believe she was in the Marshfield area at some point since she disappeared. She is described as white, 5’7? tall and about 220 pounds.
