WAUSAU — Wisconsin Public Radio’s “Route 51”  focuses on Wisconsin’s 85th Assembly race at 10 a.m. Oct. 4.

Incumbent Republican Patrick Snyder, Schofield, and Democrat Alyson Leahy, Wausau, will debate issues facing the district with WPR’s Rick Reyer and Shereen Siewert of the Wausau Pilot & Review.

The 85th Assembly District rests in the center of Marathon County. It includes the cities of Wausau and Schofield, the villages of Rothschild, Hatley and Elderon, and the towns of Ringle and Norrie. It also includes the Wausau west business park and Aspirus Wausau Hospital campus. The general election is set to take place on Tuesday, Nov. 6.
