GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — Authorities have made an arrest in the fatal shooting of a Bellevue woman in 2016.

Anthony John Kitchenakow, also known as Big Tone, was taken into custody Wednesday at his home on the Menominee Indian Reservation.

An arrest warrant had been issued for 1st Degree Intentional Homicide.

On Aug. 29, 2016, Suzette Langlois, 52, was found shot to death in her vehicle parked in the driveway for her home at 3020 Manitowoc Road. Investigators said the crime happened sometime before 2 o’clock that morning.

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office said the murder was not a random act of violence. They collected fingerprints, DNA and trace evidence from the scene and had it processed.

Kitchenakow is in custody and awaiting transport to Brown County.

Kitchenakow has a lengthy criminal record including felony charges for Substantial Battery, Domestic Abuse, Child Abuse, Intimidating a Victim and Threatening Force. State cases date back to 1990, according to online court records.
